What happens during the consultation?
Your consultation is a complimentary 30-minute call where we discuss your current challenges, goals, and business needs. From there, Sunset Operations Consulting will provide tailored recommendations and clear next steps, with no obligation to move forward.
Do you work with businesses outside California?
Sunset Operations Consulting primarily supports California businesses, particularly in workplace safety and compliance. We may also support businesses outside California with operational structure, workflow improvement, documentation, and training support.
Do you offer virtual services?
Yes. Most services can be provided virtually, including consultations, assessments, policy review, compliance planning, training support, documentation, and implementation guidance.
The only service that requires an on-site visit is the development of a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan, which allows us to assess the physical workspace and site-specific safety needs.
How long do projects typically take?Timelines depend on the size of your organization and the scope of work. Smaller projects may be completed quickly, while larger projects involving program development, training, or implementation may take several weeks. A clear timeline will be provided after the consultation.
Do I only need a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan?No. A written plan is only one part of compliance. Covered California employers must also provide employee training, maintain reporting procedures, identify and correct hazards, document incidents, keep required records, and review the program over time. Training is required for new employees, annually, and when new hazards or plan changes are identified.
